Olga Sosnovskaya’s charity concert
On December 3 Olga Sosnovskaya's charity concert "Soul Melodies" took place in the hall of the Komi Republican Philharmonic Society. The performance was timed to the International Day of Invalids (December 3) and past recently Day of Mother.
Before the concert beginning Mayor of Syktyvkar Ivan Pozdeev congratulated all those present. Words of respect to veterans were also said by the vice-speaker of the State Council of the Komi Republic Stanislav Hahalkin. Letters of thanks were handed over to guests of honour by Vladimir Pystin, Chairman of Syktyvkar Union of Veterans, and Galina Lapshina, Chairman of «Women of Syktyvkar» organization.
Along with the Union of Veterans and "Women of Syktyvkar" organization the International Cultural Foundation «Classics and modernity» and Vladimir Yurkovsky's Producer Centre also acted as organizers of the concert. General sponsor of the performance was "LUKOIL-KOMI".
As well as Olga Sosnovskaya’s any concert, "Soul Melodies" left nobody indifferent. That evening Olga Sosnovskaya sang many romances to the accompaniment of Elena Koidan, Honoured Artiste of the Komi Republic. Each romance was followed by a storm of applause.
After the concert was over the visitors got gifts from the general sponsor "LUKOIL-KOMI".
