Performance "Robbery at midnight"
On October 27 the premiere of a musical detective of Mark Samoilov, St.-Petersburg composer, Boris Lagoda, chief stage director of the theatre, «Robbery at midnight» took place at the Republican Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Vladimir Yurkovsky and Galina Malikova, soloists of the Opera and Ballet Theatre, appeared this evening in unusual role. Vladimir Yurkovsky played the role of Milan, deputy director of the shopping centre, trying to cope with his wife and his mistresses. Galina Malikova played the role of Ilonka, better half of Milan.
The premiere had enough success, despite uncommonness of such a performance for the Opera and Ballet Theatre.
On November 21 "Robbery at midnight" will be performed in the Palace of Culture of Ukhta. These days Syktyvkar theatre will be there on tours. Vladimir Yurkovsky will play the role of Milan together with Tamara Savchenko, soloist of the theatre.
